PRICE REDUCTION: Our vendor has now finished his sailing career and this Chico is seriously for sale!! 

This vessel is unfinished. The vendor / boat builder has been sailing on many occasions and now wants to sell and move on. We have many more photos of the construction of the hull and keel. 

Berthed Mana. Wellington. Launched 2014. 

Hull was molded 2004 by the vendor who also owns molds 
Scoop was incorporated in the molding. 

GRP hull is laid up to the Chico 40 original specifications. 

Length: 42 ft over all. 
Diesel: 100 Litres. Tank Aluminium. 
Pressure Water:  200 Litres. Tank, Polyethelene. 
Holding tank:  40 Litres. 
Fridge and Freezer:  12-volt Eutetic. 
New 2 burner stove and oven. 
CAC Range hood. 

Electronics new: Garmin Radar GPSMAP 751 xs. 
Garmin 7in WVGA Touch Screen, pinch to Zoom. 
Pre loaded Coastal Blue Chart g2 Australia and NZ. 
10 Hz High-sensitivity GPS. 
VHF. 

Fully molded decks and cabin top as per the existing Chico 40. Decks overlaid with Oroko 
a PNG grown hardwood, laid approximately 2012. 

Engine is a Volvo 40 hp 2009 model, purchased second hand with approximately 400 hrs. 
The Volvo Sail drive was New at time of launching. 

Rig was new 2014. 
Sails consist of a second hand furling Genoa, ex Navy, in very good condition and the Mainsail. 
New Capstan and winches. 

Keel was built to standard specs, all lead. 

The Tender and Kayak are not included in the sale. 

Our vendor may consider a part trade on a smaller fibreglass trailerboat / launch.
