Hull bottom completely scraped back approx 5 years ago, re-antifouled and prop speed applied to the rudder/prop/shaft.
Considerable recent mechanical upgrades include:
New Cummins 6BTA 300hp long block in 2012, now done approx. 30 hours.
New turbo, injectors, lift pump and fuel system upgrade including cleaning of the diesel tanks.
Recond injector pump and aftercooler.
New cutlass bearing and shaft seal
A recent inspection has revealed some water ingress through the teak foredeck around the anchor well area and this needs some attention. A boat builder has given an indication of up to $5k to carry out repairs and replace the teak, or up to $10k to completely remove all the teak from the decks and repair by re-decking, glassing and painting. Naturally we advise your own inspection and survey.
The interior is original and very tidy for its age but would certainly benefit from some cosmetic modernising by recovering of squabs and carpets etc.
Pricing now reflects the work required to bring this fantastic looking boat back to up top condition, an excellent opportunity to add value without overcapitalising your investment.
