Cheoy Lee Motor Sailor

   The vessel is a Ketch Rigged Pilot House Motor Sailor, designed by a Dutch Naval Architect, Pieter Bleedsnijier and built in the Hong Kong yard of Cheoy Lee.
The hull and decks were shipped to Whitianga for the completion of the vessel. This project was completed and the vessel launched in 2005. This is hull number 19. Displacement 32 tons.
   The vessel is contructed in GRP, hull, Pilot house, cabin and decks. The decks are overlaid with teak, caulked between the 50 mm teak strips with black butynol. There are high bulwalks to the area forward of the Pilot house running aft. Lesser height bulwalks run around the remainder of the vessel.
